What is Expat-Libya?

- Expat-Libya is Libya's first dedicated information and advisory service for expatriates and their employers

- Our goals are (i) to make the lives of expatriates and their families easier in such a culturally and operationally different country, and (ii) to provide an information service to employers to aid in relocating and managing staff in Libya

- The service will consist of a comprehensive introductory pack followed by access to this in depth website

What are the benefits to the Expat?

We hope to lessen the strain of living in a foreign country with a foreign language, customs and traditions to contend with. Benefits will include:

- an insight into working and living in Libya (compiled by expatriates for expatriates) and a host of tips and guides to make certain facets easier

- a good, trustworthy directory of local information, from the location of reputable schools or private healthcare facilities to the details of IT professionals who can enable home-based internet services

- to allow a forum for expatriates and their families to exchange information and/or ideas thereby creating a support network

Given the frustrating and time consuming nature of living in Libya, we believe that Expat-Libya will become an essential resource to expatriates living in Libya . We will seek to cover as many areas as possible, from providing an information directory on local businesses to recommending things to do.
